At PK Green, we are committed to protecting your privacy, and maintaining your trust and confidence. We do not sell, rent or trade email lists with other businesses for marketing purposes. In this Privacy Policy, we will outline why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.
We collect, use and protect your data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.

Types of data we collect

Our websites use cookies to collect information. This includes information about browsing and purchasing behaviour by people who access our websites. This also includes information about pages viewed, products purchased and the customer journey around our websites.
Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

Google Analytics
When someone visits our website, we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Mailing Lists
As part of the registration process for our email newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for these reasons: to tell you about things that you have asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are correct and to check every now and then that you are happy and satisfied. We do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations or businesses.
We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our email newsletter. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing us at sales@pkgreen.com.
We will always ask your permission before sending you email marketing information. We do this by asking for your positive confirmation (e.g. by providing a tick or inserting your contact details in the relevant boxes) indicating that you wish to receive marketing and you can opt out at any time. This ensures you only receive information that you have given us permission to send and are willing to receive.
Data Required to Process Your Order
When you make a purchase from our website or via phone, your name, billing address data, delivery address data, email and contact number will be stored in our website system on our secure server. We use this data to process your order - to process your payment, to send you order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails, to ship the order to your delivery address, to contact you about your order if required, and to send you a review request. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.
Data for Trade Account Registration
Registration may be required to create a trade account, in order to view prices and purchase products at business prices. For registration, we collect data including: name, email address, business name, business type, business website, VAT number, products you are interested in, how you found us, which search phrase you used.
This information is used to: ensure that you are a business customer, help us better serve you according to your business type, contact you regarding your trade account (not marketing material), help us better understand how and where business customers find us, help us better understand the products that you are interested in so we can better serve you, and provide you with a VAT invoice.
Surveys
After purchase, you may be given the opportunity to give feedback regarding your experience on the order confirmation page. This data is used solely to help us improve customer experience by identifying what we did well, and what we could improve. No personal data is collected in this survey.
Information Security
To protect your information, we have policies and procedures in place to make sure that only authorised personnel can access the information, that information is handled and stored in a secure and sensible manner and all systems that can access the information have proportionate and reasonable security measures in place.
While we take commercially reasonable measures to ensure the safety and security of your data, due to the inherent risks with the Internet, we are unable to warranty the absolute security of your data when using our services.
Links To Other Websites
Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.
Your rights
In order to process any of the requests listed below, we may need to verify your identity for your security. In such cases your response will be necessary for you to exercise this right.
The right to access information we hold about you
At any point you can contact us to request details concerning the information we hold about you, why we have that information, who has access to the information and where we got the information. In most cases you may be entitled to copies of the information we hold concerning you. Once we have received your request we will respond within 30 days.
The right to correct and update the information we hold about you
If the data we hold about you is out of date, incomplete or incorrect, you can inform us and we will ensure that it is updated.
The right to have your information erased
If you feel that we should no longer be using your data, you can request that we erase the data we hold. When we receive your request, we will confirm whether the data has been deleted or tell you the reason why it cannot be deleted.
The right to object to processing of your data
You have the right to request that we stop processing your data. Upon receiving the request, we will contact you to tell you if we are able to comply or if we have legitimate grounds to continue. If data is no longer processed, we may continue to hold your data to comply with your other rights.
The right to ask us to stop contacting you with direct marketing
You have the right to request that we stop contacting you with direct marketing. On promotional emails we provide an ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the email which will unsubscribe you from that service. If you wish to opt out with respect to more than one email address, you must complete a separate request for each email address.
Please note it is not possible to ‘opt-out’ of receiving communication from us which relates to your orders e.g. order and dispatch confirmation emails (which are not considered marketing for these purposes).
The right to data portability
You have the right to request that we transfer your data to another controller. Once we have received your request, we will comply where it is feasible to do so.

Consent
In those cases where we need your consent to process your information, we will ask you to make a positive indication (e.g. to tick a box or insert your contact details on the relevant form or web page requiring consent). By actively providing us with your consent, you are stating that you have been informed as to the type of personal information that will be processed, the reasons for such processing, how it will be used, what your rights are as a data subject and that you have read and understood this privacy policy.
Sharing your information
The information and data we collect is important and we understand that you care about the use and storage of your personal information we value your trust in allowing us to do this. We would not want to share this with anyone else unless we have your express consent, we will never disclose, rent, trade or sell your personal information to any third parties for their marketing purposes.
We do disclose or transfer your data or personal information to other companies, data processors or agents employed by us to perform any necessary functions on our behalf (such as hosting and maintaining our website, providing us with data management systems, feedback requests and support services), but they are bound by similar terms to those set out in our privacy policy and may not use this information for their own purposes.
Klarna (pay later or pay in installments option)
In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.
In Switzerland, Klarna offers its services together with its subsidiary Billpay. If you share personal data with Klarna and Billpay you need to explain this in your privacy notice and link to Klarna’s and Billpay’s local privacy notices there. Below is an example of what that could look like in your existing privacy notice (the specific data categories transferred to be added, and text to be translated into your local language):
Billpay’s/Klarna’s payment options: In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options and to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna and Billpay. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarna’s (de, fr, it or en versions) and Billpay’s (de, fr, it or en versions) privacy notices.
